• Land acquisition completed. (Nepal: 110 Bigha, India = 70 Acre)
• Demarcation from Budhnagar VDC to Koshi Highway has been done.
• Tender is accepted from DRAI Pvt. Ltd., India on 19 Sept 2016.
• Joint Inspection visit of Govt. of Nepal (Ministry of Urban Planning and Nepal Intermodal Transport Dev. Board, Customs Department, etc.) and Govt. of India happened on 2072 Chaitra 05.
  • Construction at Indian side has completed about 60%.

Impressions:

• Nepal Side:
  • There are High-tension Lines and transformers at 3 places on ICP construction area and some huts are made.
  • Nepal Electricity Authority should clear the high tension lines and transformers at their earliest.
  • Master list received from Indian side should be accepted at earliest by the concerned authorities of Nepal so that the project could be completed in time.
• Indian Side:
  • Master list will be provided very shortly.
  • Indian Company is saying that no work will be started till the site is cleared.
